Gordiola glassworks, Algaida
Watch the glassblowers at work in the old furnace hall and browse the museum and shop upstairs.
Fundació Miró Mallorca, Palma
Joan Miró's studios and gardens above the bay – bright, quiet and worth a full morning.
Serra de Tramuntana road trip
Valldemossa, Deià and Sóller in one day. Take the vintage tram down to Port de Sóller for a late swim.
Palma on a Monday
La Seu cathedral, the Santa Catalina market for tapas and a wander through the boutiques of Sant Jaume.
Bodega tasting inland
Binissalem and Felanitx are full of small family wineries – call ahead, most do tastings by appointment.
Es Trenc & the south
Caribbean-style sand and shallow water, best early in the morning. Finish with fresh fish in Colònia de Sant Jordi.
Boat day
Charter a small boat from Porto Cristo or Cala Ratjada and hop between coves that you can only reach from the water.
